    Tipsy Forest Fruit Dessert

Jars of preserved fruits look very tempting and make excellent gifts. You can use our bottled fruits in any desserts. This recipe uses Forest Fruits with Cherry Brandy.

    Serves: 6

    • A few berries for decoration
    • 284ml carton double cream
    • 250g fromage frais
    • 2 crushed meringue nests
    • 2tbsp brandy-flavoured syrup

    1. Drain the fruit from the jar and reserve the brandy-flavoured syrup. Whip 1 x 284ml carton double cream until stiff.
    2. Fold in 1 x 250g tub Waitrose Natural Creamy Fromage Frais and 2 crushed meringue nests. Reserving a few berries for decoration, very gently swirl in the remaining fruit and 2tbsp of the brandy-flavoured syrup. Spoon into individual glasses.
    3. To serve, decorate with extra berries and drizzle a little of the syrup over the top.
