Waitrose Weekend - your essential guide on what to do, watch, eat, cook, read, buy and visit this weekend.

Welcome to your bigger, bolder and better Waitrose Weekend

From this week you will receive 40 new-look pages of news, in-depth features and celebrity interviews.

The brilliant new food section provides tasty recipes, latest trends and products from the world of food and drink, as well as interviews with farmers and producers.

The new Weekending section is full of ideas on what to do with your leisure time, from weekends away to gardening and walks. Our arts critics include Mariella Frostrup on film, Lynne Truss on TV and Quentin Letts on theatre.

As well as the continuation of Fi Glover’s weekly column, other writers to look out for are TV presenter Sue Perkins, Today presenter John Humphrys, journalists Rachel Johnson and Eleanor Oldroyd, travel expert Simon Calder, and everyone’s favourite, Clare Balding. Jonathan Agnew will continue to offer his opinion on the week’s sporting events and Alan Titchmarsh his tips on gardening.

New Waitrose Weekend

And crossword fans needn’t worry - you’ll find it in a new spot on page 37 with the popular cartoon Chef & Sue.

Waitrose Weekend was launched in March 2010 and was the first free newspaper published by a retailer. Free every Thursday, it's your essential guide on what to do, watch, eat, cook, read, buy and visit this weekend. You can also download the free Weekend iPad app on iTunes.
