Wine of Italy. Chianti - Red Italian Wine. This Chianti earns its Riserva status following a lengthy maturation in traditional oak vats and then, once bottled at the Melini cellars in the rolling hills of Tuscany. The winemaking team tastes the wine weekly to decide when it is ready for release. This maturation process creates a round and rich wine which will make a great partner for pasta and tomato-based dishes as well as grilled meat, roasts and cheese.
