Wine of France. Côtes du Rhône Villages - Red French Wine. Massif d'Uchaux is one of only seventeen villages in the Côtes du Rhône that is designated the right to be individually featured as an area of outstanding quality for the production of its wines. Located in the Southern Rhône Valley, the vineyards surrounding the village are planted primarily with the Grenache grape as well as Syrah, Mourvedre and Carignan. The result is a classic Rhône wine; lovely soft summer fruit aromas, well structured and with generous ripe fruit flavours, balanced by a long lingering finish with hints of pepper and spice.
