Preparation & Storage
- Directions Delicious baked into cookies, muffins and brownies, simply stir into the mix before baking. Chips retain shape when baked. Chocolate Chips can be melted and added to your favourite recipes or used to cover desserts, cakes and traybakes. For a quick and easy method to melt Chocolate Chips, place the bag in a jug of hot water until melted. Cut corner of bag to make a small hole and use as a drizzle. To melt (on the hob), place in a dry heatproof bowl over a pan of hot (not boiling) water and stir until smooth. Take care not to get water into the melting chocolate. To melt in the microwave (based on 850W) remove Chocolate Chips from packaging and place in a microwave safe bowl and heat on medium (50%) power for 1 minute, then stir well. If required, heat in bursts of 10 seconds (50%) and stir until smooth. Take care when melting chocolate not to overheat.
Store in a cool, dry place.
