Preparation & Storage
- Just add:3-4 medium chicken breasts (approx. 500 g), 1 onion and 2 peppers. Cook Fajitas in 10 minutes.Recipe Suggestion:Chicken FajitasServes 4Approx. 500 g chicken breast, cut into strips2 tbsp oil1 Discovery Fajita Kit1 medium onion, sliced1 greed pepper, sliced1 red or yellow pepper, slicedStep 1 Coat chicken in oil and Seasoning Mix.(For a milder fajita use less seasoning).Step 2 Heat a heavy based frying pan until very hot. Add the chicken and fry for about 3 minutes until well browned. Add onions and peppers and cook for a further 2 minutes or until meat is cooked.Step 3 Warm the tortillas. This can be done by placing in a dry frying pan or under the grill for 6 seconds each side. Alternatively put in a microwave at full power (650w) warming each tortilla for 8 seconds each or all together for 45 seconds.Step 4 Serve with warm tortillas and salsa.Roll up and enjoy!Top tipsWhen cooking fajitas be brave, and use more heat than you might be accustomed to. The pan should be really hot when you add the vegetables and meat so that they sizzle on contact. Don't worry if some of the onions and peppers go brown at the edges. The sweetness this releases gives greater depth of flavour.
