This distinctive white wine is sourced from the well-regarded cooperative situated in the bustling village of Turckheim. Nestled in the foothills of the Vosges mountains, with its varied patchwork of soils, the winery can draw upon a broad supply of fine Gewurztraminer grapes. The Gewurztraminer variety grows exceptionally well in the warm dry, Alsatian climate to make a classically rich, opulent style of wine that is markedly full-bodied and very spicy with a dry finish. Golden coloured, with an intense rose petal and lychee nose, and a wonderful refreshing exotic peach, pear and apricot palate finishing dry, this wine is typical of the region where the local gastronomy demands satisfying wines to accompany their generously flavoursome foods.
