BAKE - Preheat the oven. Wash the potatoes well. Dry and prick the skin with a fork. Place directly onto an oven shelf and bake for 1 - 1½ hours or until the skin is crisp and the flesh tender. ( Oven: 220°C, Fan: Fan 200°C, Gas: Gas Mark Gas 7)
Microwave ovens vary. Refer to Handbook Remove all packaging. Cook on full power. Stand for 2 minutes before serving Check food is piping hot Cooking time shown for 1 x 250g potato. Wash, dry and prick with a fork, and place on a microwaveable plate. For a crispier skin after microwaving, brush with oil. Place on a baking tray in the centre of a preheated oven at 220°C, gas mark 7, for 12-15 minutes until the skin is crispy.
