Preparation & Storage
- Directions: Place a cube in a jug. Add 450ml (3/4pt) of boiling water and stir to dissolve. Alternatively add crumbled cube directly to dishes as a seasoning. Marco Pierre White's Perfect Steak with Onions. I season my steak with a paste of 1 Knorr Beef Stock Cube and 1tsp of olive oil. Rub the paste over both sides of 2 steaks. In a very hot pan, add 1tbsp of olive oil and cook the steaks for about 3 minutes on each side for a perfect medium steak. It is perfectly cooked when the blood raises across the surface of the whole steak. Take out of pan and keep warm. Meanwhile in the same pan, heat 1tbsp olive oil, add 1 medium sliced onion and crumble in 1 Knorr Beef Stock Cube. Keep stirring and cook for 5 minutes. Add the juices from the steak, cook for 1-2 minutes, add the onions and serve.
