Croustades

Croustades

Croustades are small crisp, savoury shells that are filled before serving hot or cold. Waitrose sell Rahms Mini Croustades in packs of 24.

Uses: Croustades can be filled with a wide selection of hot or cold fillings and then served as appetisers with drinks. Fillings to try include cream cheese and smoked salmon, salsa and grated cheese, prawns in mayonnaise or finely chopped chicken in spicy yogurt.

To store: Keep in a cool, dry place and use by the best before date. Once opened store in an airtight container.

To prepare: If using a hot filling, warm the croustades in the oven (heat for 5 minutes in a preheated oven at 200ÂșC, gas mark 6), fill with the hot filling and serve immediately.
