Hello, I’m Excitable Edgar. You may have seen me and my best friend Ava during winter 2019. We were in the first joint Christmas advert that John Lewis & Partners and Waitrose & Partners worked on – and it was very, very exciting (so much so that I’m now having a rest!). Happy new year to you all

Have you heard of FareShare?

It’s the largest charity tackling food poverty in the UK by redistributing surplus food from manufacturers and shops to the people who need it. Since 2017, we have donated more than 1.5million meals to charities and groups through the FareShare Go app. This Christmas, Waitrose & Partners and John Lewis & Partners are working with FareShare to host Community Festive Feasts across the country, and donating £150,000 to the charity as part of the joint advertising campaign
