    Melting Nachos

    This fabulous starter takes very little preparation and just minutes to cook.

    • Vegetarian
    • Preparation time: 5 minutes
    • Cooking time: 10 minutes

    Serves: 4


    • 200g tub essential Waitrose Tomato Salsa
    • 100g Jarlsberg or Emmental, grated
    • 2 tbsp Cooks' Ingredients Sliced Jalapeno Peppers
    • 170g tub Waitrose Supreme Guacamole
    • 200g pack Waitrose Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips


    1. Preheat the oven to 200C, gas mark 6. Empty the tortilla chips into an ovenproof dish and spoon over the salsa. Bake for 5 minutes.
    2. Scatter over the cheese and return the dish to the oven for a further 5 minutes until bubbling. Scatter over the jalapenos and serve immediately with the guacamole.

    Cook's tips

    To make your salsa a little more fiery, stir in a large pinch of crushed chilli flakes.
