  • What happens to my broadband connection if I move house?

Provided that your new phone line is capable of receiving broadband, we will switch your service over to your new line. We will endeavour to make your move as smooth as possible. The moving house charge is £40.96 - this is what we are charged by BT to cancel the service at your old house and enable broadband at your new house. If you have had Waitrose Broadband for more than 12 months when you move house, we will pay this cost on your behalf if you agree to another 12 month contract at your new house.

  • I already have a broadband service with another internet provider. Can I change it over to Waitrose.com Broadband?

The easy way to change broadband providers is using a process called 'migration'. This process ensures that any interruption to your broadband service is kept to a bare minimum. You will need to contact your existing service provider and ask for MAC (Migration Authorisation Code). They should know what this means. You will be asked to enter this number when you sign up for Waitrose.com Broadband. We will then arrange for your service to be moved over as quickly as possible. Follow this link for more information on migration.
