    Creamy gammon and vegetable pie

    800g essential Waitrose Potatoes, cut into chunks
    1 tbsp vegetable oil
    250g pack essential Waitrose Smoked British Gammon Steak, cut into 1cm dice
    500g frozen essential Waitrose Vegetable Mix, defrosted
    350g essential Waitrose Cheese Sauce
    1 tsp essential Waitrose English Mustard
    25g essential Waitrose Butter
    50ml essential Waitrose Milk
    50g essential Waitrose Mild Cheddar, grated


    1. Cook the potatoes in boiling water for 15-20 minutes or until tender, drain and return to the pan.

    2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the gammon for 4-5 minutes, add the mixed vegetables and fry for a further 4-5 minutes. Stir in the cheese sauce and mustard, and heat for 2-3 minutes. Place in a heatproof dish.

    3. Mash the potatoes with the butter and milk, season to taste and spoon on top of the dish. Sprinkle with cheese and place under a preheated grill for 5 minutes or until golden
