Chocolate drops, raisins and red food colour for the eyes
1. Sandwich the sponges together with a layer of the icing. Cover the top and sides with the rest of the icing, scraping it with a spatula here and there so that the chocolate cake shows through.
2. Roll out fondant icing and cut into strips. Brush with a little water and wrap loosely around the cake. For the eyes, roll some icing into a ball and cut in half. Press a chocolate drop onto each half, add a raisin and create a bloodshot look with red food colouring. Stick on with more icing.
