    London calling cocktail

    This drink is snappy and dry - ideal when you want a summery apéritif. It's a shaken drink so probably best for smaller gatherings, but it's delicious and fresh. The garnish of a caper berry is a great savoury touch for servingpre-dinner

    • Total time: 2 minutes 5 minutes

    Serves: 1


    40ml gin
    20ml lemon juice
    20ml Fino sherry
    10ml sugar syrup
    2 dashes Angostura Bitters
    Caper berry and lemon peel, to serve


    1. In a cocktail shaker, shake all the ingredients hard, then double strain into a small, chilled cocktail glass.

    2. Garnish with a caper berry and a twist of lemon peel, then serve.
