    Mulled Plums with Blueberries

    Serves: 4


    • 25g unsalted butter
    • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 25g Waitrose light brown soft sugar
    • 450g Victoria Plums
    • 1 orange
    • 225g blueberries
    • Organic Vanilla Ice Cream


    1. Melt 25g unsalted butter in a saucepan and add 1tsp ground cinnamon and 25g Waitrose Light Brown Soft Sugar. Add 450g Waitrose Victoria Plums, stoned and quartered, and the juice and pared rind of an orange.
    2. Heat gently for 5 minutes then stir in 225g blueberries. Continue to cook for a further 5 minutes or until the fruits just start to soften. Cool until just warm and serve with scoops of Waitrose Organic Vanilla Ice Cream.
