Chargrilled steak with spicy broccoli

Serves: 2
2 x 200g packs Tenderstem broccoli, trimmed
1 tbsp olive oil
2 x 150g sirloin steaks, trimmed of all fat
45g Cooks’ Ingredients Gochujang Chilli Paste
2 tbsp Japanese rice vinegar
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
½ clove garlic, peeled and crushed
½ tsp sesame seeds, optional
1. Preheat the oven to 220ºC, gas mark 7. Lay the broccoli in a roasting tin with half the olive oil and toss to coat. Roast for 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
2. Preheat a griddle pan over a high heat, rub the steaks with the remaining oil then sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, for rare, or until cooked to your liking. Set aside to rest for 5 minutes.
3. Mix the remaining ingredients together in a large bowl, add the roasted broccoli and toss to coat. Serve with the steak. Scatter with toasted sesame seeds if used.
