    Choc-orange buttered rum

    Serves: 1


    100ml freshly squeezed orange juice
    Zest of ½ orange
    50ml water
    1 tsp dark brown sugar
    1 tsp cacao powder, plus extra to garnish
    1 tsp butter
    Orange peel, to garnish 


    1. Add the orange juice, orange zest, water, dark brown sugar, cacao powder and butter to a pan. Gently warm and stir.

    2. Add the spiced rum, strain into a heatproof glass and garnish with orange peel and a dusting of cacao.
