    Cucumber, pear, ginger and spinach smoothie

    Serves: 2 (makes 600ml)

    Ingredients

    1 cucumber, peeled and roughly chopped
    2 ripe pears, roughly chopped
    10g fresh root ginger, roughly chopped
    large handful baby spinach
    6 ice cubes

    Method

    1. Put all the ingredients in a powerful blender with 50ml chilled water and blend until smooth. Divide between 2 glasses and serve immediately.
