Dancing shoes cocktail
A crimson glass of bubbles will get even a Scrooge into the party mood. Use a good-quality vodka; we like smooth Black Cow.
Serves: 1
Ingredients
20ml vodka
10ml Chambord
20ml pomegranate juice, chilled
Champagne, cava or other fizz, chilled, to top
Pomegranate seeds, to garnish
Edible gold leaf, to garnish (optional)
Method
1 Pour the vodka, Chambord and pomegranate juice into a martini glass. Top with fizz. Garnish with pomegranate seeds. If you want to up the luxe factor, decorate the seeds with edible gold leaf first.
Host’s tip
To get ahead, multiply the proportions of vodka, Chambord and juice by the number of guests, cover and store in a jug in the fridge. When ready to serve, pour 50ml per person into glasses and top each with fizz.
