    Honey-mustard roast salmon

    • Cooking time: 15-20 mins

    Serves: 2

    Ingredients

    280g pack Waitrose 2 Scottish Salmon Fillets
    2 tbsp Maille Mustard With Honey
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    Juice of ½ lemon
    ½ tsp smoked paprika
    Pinch of caster sugar
    1 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
    Mashed potatoes and shredded cabbage or kale, to serve

    Method

    1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, gas mark 6. Place the salmon in a small heatproof dish.

    2. Mix together the mustard, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, sugar and chives and brush this over the fish. Roast for 15–20 minutes until cooked through and nicely browned.

    3. Serve with mash and steamed green vegetables.

     

    Cook’s tip
    Try sprinkling the salmon with sesame seeds for the last
    5 minutes of roasting.
