Ingredients

5 Kesar or Alfonso mangoes

500g chilled Greek yogurt

juice and finely grated zest of 1 small lime

1 tbsp Kirsch

Caster sugar, to taste
Method

Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh away from the stones. Cut the flesh into large chunks, reserving a few small pieces for a garnish, if you like. Purée the chunks of mango in a blender or food processor.

Slowly whisk the puréed mango with the yogurt, followed by the lime juice and Kirsch. Add sugar to taste - if you have used very ripe, sweet mangoes you may not need any additional sugar at all. Cover and chill to thicken. Serve cold in small dishes, garnished with the lime zest and additional slivers of mango.
