Barbecue

Barbecue

This refers to both the method of cooking and the piece of equipment. To barbecue food is to cook it outdoors usually on a rack or spit over white hot charcoal.

Ranging from a simple disposable barbecue to sophisticated gas flame effect barbecues, there are a wide choice of different barbecues available all of which work on the same principle - food is cooked over hot coals.
