Chill

To place in the fridge, at a temperature of less than 5°C, to reduce the temperature of food, eg chill the mousse in the fridge for 2 hours before serving.

Chilled

A food that has been stored in the fridge at a temperature of less than 5°C, in order to reduce its temperature before serving, eg serve the pudding with chilled, whipped cream.
