Teriyaki sauce

Teriyaki sauce

A piquant blend of Japanese soya sauce and mirin (a traditional Japanese liquid sweetener). It is a dark brown liquid and is sold in bottles.

Uses: Teriyaki sauce was traditionally used as a glaze for fish or meat at the end of the cooking process, nowadays it is also used for marinading and brushing grilled and fried poultry and seafood.

To store: Keep in a cool dry, place for up to 2 years.
