    Ginger St Clement's juice

    Serves: 2-3


    15g fresh root ginger
    2 red grapefruits, halved
    4 easy peelers, halved
    Juice ½ lemon 


    1. Finely grate the ginger, with the skin on. Gather the gratings up in a clean hand and squeeze firmly over a jug to extract all the juice. Discard the dry gratings.

    2. Squeeze the grapefruits and easy peelers into the jug, add the lemon juice then strain through a fine sieve, if you wish. Drink straight away or chill for up to 30 minutes.
