Jerk seasoning

Jamaican jerk seasoning

A traditional blend of warm spices popular in Caribbean cookery. The main ingredients are allspice, chilli and pepper and it is sold with the herbs and spices.

Uses: Sprinkle a little Jamaican jerk seasoning (about ½ tsp per portion) over cooked chicken, meat or fish and then grill or pan fry for 1-2 minutes to allow the flavours to develop.

To store: Keep in an airtight jar in a cool, dry place for up to 1 year.
