
Nougat
A traditional confection made from boiled honey or sugar syrup which is combined with egg white, almond and vanilla. Nougat has a deliciously chewy texture and a distinctive almond flavour.
Uses: Enjoy nougat as a sweet treat with coffee after dinner, crumble and sprinkle over good quality vanilla ice cream and serve with chocolate sauce or use to make a delicious nutty ice cream.
