A sweet, fruity Oriental sauce made from simmered plums, flavoured with fresh ginger and chilli.
Uses: Add to stir-fries for a tangy fruit flavour - plum sauce goes particularly well with chicken, duck, pork, salmon or prawns. It can also be used as a dip with crispy Peking duck or prawn crackers.
To store: Keep in a cool dry place unopened. Once opened store in the fridge and use within 7 days.
