A Single Free Range Egg
This goose egg is truly distinctive, with a large ivory white shell that is almost three times the size of a hen's egg. It has a more pronounced flavour, but is slightly milder than a duck egg. Goose eggs can be simply boiled or scrambled, shared romantically topped with shaved truffle and are particularly good as an ingredient in baked dishes such as gratins and quiches or as the base for the finest Yorkshire pudding. All Clarence Court Goose eggs are laid between Spring and early Summer by free roaming geese living on lush pastures.
