PAN FRY. RARE 11-13 mins. MEDIUM 15-17 mins. WELL DONE 19-21 mins. Heat 1 tbsp oil in frying pan over a high heat. Add steak fat side down for 1 minute and seal on both sides for 4 minutes turning halfway through. Reduce to a low heat and cook for the remaining time. Ensure the surface of the meat is thoroughly cooked. Due to the natural variability in the thickness of the meat, the cooking instructions provided are a base guide. For thicker steaks, additional cooking time may be required. Once cooked, allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Oven cook

PAN FRY / OVEN. HIGH HEAT …200ºC / 180ºC (fan) / Gas Mark 6. RARE 5 mins + 10-12 mins. MEDIUM 5 mins + 12-14 mins. WELL DONE 5 mins + 14-16 mins. Preheat oven. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan over a high heat. Add steak fat side down for 1 minute and seal on both sides for 4 minutes turning halfway through. Transfer to an ovenproof tray and roast in the centre of the preheated oven and cook for the remaining time. Ensure the surface of the meat is thoroughly cooked. Due to the natural variability in the thickness of the meat, the cooking instructions provided are a base guide. For thicker steaks, additional cooking time may be required.
