Bonnie's Tasty Recipes Simply add to your stir-fries, curries and your favourite sauces Stir fried tofu knots Sweet & spicy crispy tofu knots As featured on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch Preparing Tofu Knots - The Tofu Tasty Way Immerse your tofu in cold water for at least 2 hours to hydrate your tofu, then drain in a colander before cooking. Now pick your texture! Crunchy & Crispy Toss & coat the knots in plenty of cornflour. Deep fry for 2 minutes or pan fry all sides for 5 minutes in oil. Crispy & Flakey Lightly coat knots in oil, and bake at 180°C for 15 minutes until golden and crispy. Soft & Silky Simply simmer directly in your favourite sauces and broths. Top Tips! Work in small batches to maintain crispness! Drain on kitchen paper to remove excess oil. Be careful not to cook or soak the tofu knots for too long, they can become fragile.
