British chicken and mushrooms in a creamy sauce encased in shortcrust pastry topped with a puff pastry lid.

We make the filling for our Chicken & Mushroom Pie with chunks of tender British higher welfare chicken, and add West Country cream and a little roasted garlic to the rich, creamy sauce. It all goes into crumbly shortcrust pastry with a flaky puff pastry lid, glazed with free range egg so the pie comes out of the oven crisp and golden. Higher welfare. Our British chickens are free to roam, peck and perch in spacious, airy barns.

Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Place on a baking tray in centre of oven. Heat until golden brown & piping hot. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Do not reheat once cooled. (Time 25 mins, Oven: 200°C, Fan: 180°C, Gas: Gas Mark 6)
