British beef pieces with mushrooms in a red wine gravy encased in shortcrust pastry topped with a puff pastry lid.

We make the filling for our Steak, Mushroom & Red Wine Pie with chunks of tender British chuck steak, braised with red wine and a pinch of thyme, and we sauté the onions in beef dripping for extra flavour. It all goes into crumbly shortcrust pastry with a flaky puff pastry lid, glazed with free range egg so the pie comes out of the oven crisp and golden. Higher welfare. We work exclusively with British farmers who share our animal welfare values.
