No surprise, then, that it’s the most popular meat in the UK, second only to pork in the rest of the world, and the most searched-for from our own recipes on waitrose.com. Plus (based on no data other than feedback from friends and family), it’s the undisputed choice for that last-meal conversation we’ve probably all had at some point.
