Boil
From Chilled
Wash and peel parsnips, cut into even sized chunks, place parsnip chunks in boiling water, bring back to the boil, then allow to simmer for 8 to 10 minutes. Or when parsnips are soft.
Oven cook
From Chilled
Gas 7, 220ºC, Fan 200ºC, 25-30 mins
Preheat oven. Wash and peel the parsnips, and cut into even sized pieces. Carefully add to a roasting tin with 4tbsp of hot oil and roast on the top shelf of the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden and tender.
Steam

8-10 mins
Wash and peel the parsnips, cut into even sized chunks, place parsnip chunks in to steamer, bring the water to boiling and steam for 8-10 minutes. Or when the parsnips are soft.
