The grapes for this Syrah have been sourced from their vineyard in Gimblett Gravels winegrowing district of Hawke's Bay New Zealand. This region is unique with its nutritious alluvial soils that have been formed by sediments from millions of years ago. Earthy aromas with dark fruits and spice. The rich and luscious palate displays flavours of bright ripe plum, dried herbs and tobacco leaf. A fruit driven style with a long savoury finish. A great match with saffron and tomato braised beef ribs.
