Preparation and Usage
Directions for Use: In hard water areas, limescale may reduce appliance efficiency and shorten the life of the product. Use regularly for best results.
Kettles: Suitable for all types of kettles. Half fill with water and boil. Unplug, carefully add 75g of the pack contents and leave for 30 minutes Flush out and rinse thoroughly before use.
Coffee machines: Dissolve 30g of the pack contents in 500ml of water and add to the machine reservoir. Turn on and run through the machine. Leave for 30 minutes. Rinse afterwards with two full reservoirs of water.
Irons: Check manufacturer's instructions to ensure iron is suitable for descaling. Add 30g of the pack contents to 300ml of water in a jug and dissolve. Add to iron reservoir. Carefully heat the iron until hot. Unplug and turn temperature dial to off. Hold the iron over a sink or bowl and depress the steam button until the iron is empty. Repeat with fresh water twice. Test iron on an old piece of fabric before next use.
Shower heads: Dissolve 30g of the pack contents in a jug of warm water and immerse the shower head. Leave for 30 minutes and rinse jug and shower head thoroughly.
