OVEN HEAT CHILLED …GAS 5, 190°C, FAN 170°C 60 mins per Kg. Preheat oven. Remove the sleeve and bag from the turkey and place the sachet to one side. Cover loosely with foil and place the foil container on a baking tray in the centre of the oven. 20 minutes before the end of the cooking time take out of the oven, remove the foil and baste the turkey with the juices and then return to the oven without covering. After a further 10 minutes cooking remove from the oven and pour the glaze over the bacon. Cook for 10 minutes before finishing. …The product is cooked if juices run clear when the deepest part of the breast is pierced with a thin skewer. If the juices are pink continue cooking for a few minutes and retest. Due to the bacon the meat may have a light pink colour directly underneath the bacon however the meat is safe to eat. Ensure food is piping hot before serving. Do not reheat once cooled. Once cooked, cover with foil and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before carving. (Time 60 mins per Kg, Oven: 190°C, Fan: 170°C, Gas: Gas Mark 5)
