Vidoc IGP Atlantique red wine.Our Loved & Found wines are lesser-known varieties from around the world, carefully chosen by our buyers. Vidoc is a relatively new and incredibly rare grape variety grown in France. It is a PIWI variety, meaning it has a natural resistance to many vine diseases, which enables growers to significantly reduce the amount of treatments used in the vineyard. This in turn means fewer tractor passes through the vineyard, reducing both soil compaction and CO2 emissions. This grape variety's black skin produces deeply coloured wines, well-balanced with rich and juicy red fruit flavours and soft, integrated tannins. Enjoy while young with dishes such as duck, chicken in red wine or mushroom risotto.
