This wine comes from their Château Argadens estate, a sustainably farmed 40-hectare vineyard boasting exceptional soils and a perfect microclimate. No herbicides are used on the estate so it is a haven for wildlife with beehives, an orchard and free-roaming chickens and geese. Rich cassis on the nose is followed by a generous palate of bramble fruit, dark plum and a hint of tobacco. The toasty complexity of this wine makes it a perfect pairing for coq au vin or strong cheeses.
