Our grass and forage fed Hereford beef comes from a small group of British farmers, chosen for their high animal welfare standards and their commitment to sustainable farming. Their beef comes from cattle sired by registered pedigree Hereford bulls, and has a fine marbling of fat, which makes it succulent and gives it a unique, rich avour. Dry ageing makes this naturally delicious beef even better, deepening the flavour, and leaving it melt-in-the-mouth tender.

Oven cook

Heat 1 tbsp oil in frying pan, add steak and cook on high heat to seal, turn and seal other side. Transfer to an ovenable tray and roast in the centre of a preheated oven. TYPE TEMP RARE MEDIUM WELL DONE …Electric 220ºC 10-15 mins 15-20 mins 25-30 mins per 600g. Fan 200ºC 10-15 mins 15-20 mins 25-30 mins per 600g. Gas 7 10-15 mins 15-20 mins 25-30 mins per 600g. Ensure the surface of the meat is thoroughly cooked. Due to the natural variability in the thickness of the meat, the cooking instructions provided are a base guide. For thicker steaks of similar weight, additional cooking time may be required. Once removed from the oven, cover with kitchen foil to rest. (Oven: 220°C, Fan: 200°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 7)
