Warnings
For your child's safety…WARNING!…Inspect carefully before each use. Pull the soother in all directions. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness.…Only use dedicated soother holders tested to EN 12586. Never attach other ribbons or cords to a soother, your child may be strangled by them.…Do not leave a soother in direct sunlight or near a source of heat, or leave in disinfectant sterilising solution for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the teat.……Caution!…The box, water or soothers may still be very hot. After microwave sterilising, soothers kept in the closed box will remain disinfected for up to 48 hours. For immediate use, open the box and drain the remaining water. Leave soothers to dry in slightly open box. Check the temperature of the soothers before use. Improper water level, power level or time setting can damage the microwave, soothers and box and this can result in poor disinfection. For use only with MAM soothers. Keep steriliser box away from children.
Storage and Usage
Steriliser box instructions for use. Remove tamper-proof closure and any stickers from the box. Wash soothers and box with mild soapy water, then rinse with clear water before use to ensure hygiene. When using the self-sterilising method, please ensure the soother, box, and microwave (including the waveguide cover and turntable) are Completely Clean and free from dirt, food residue, fluff, or any splashes. If not, this could lead to the product or box melting, the microwave sparking, or the waveguide cover burning! 1. First, hold the box and fill it to the mark with 25 ml of water. 2. Place the soother in the box with the teat facing down. 3. Close the box and heat it in the microwave at 750-1000 watts. Set the microwave timer according to the number of boxes being simultaneously sterilised (1 box = 3 minutes; for multiple boxes, please find instructions on ^www.mambaby.com](http://www.mambaby.com)). Follow the user manual of your microwave. Don't put the steriliser box in the centre of the turntable. Don't leave your microwave unattended during the sterilising process. Stop the microwaving process immediately if all the water has vaporised. Allow the box to cool for a minimum of 5 minutes. Open the microwave. Soother instructions for use. Before the first use, place the soother in boiling water for 5 minutes. Allow to cool and squeeze out any trapped water that may have entered the teat. This is to ensure appropriate hygiene. Clean the soother before each use. The soother can be sterilised by the following methods; steam sterilising (electric or microwave), immersing in a liquid sterilising solution - all according to manufacturer's instructions, or boiling in water for at least 5 minutes. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Never dip the teat in sweet substances or medication. This may cause your child tooth decay. Replace the soother every 1-2 months, for safety and hygiene reasons. In the event that the soother becomes lodged in the mouth, do not panic; it cannot be swallowed and is designed to cope with such an event. Remove from the mouth with care, as gently as possible. MAM recommends giving up the use of soothers at the age of 6. For night soothers: Keep the soother in daylight - not direct sunlight - during the day so that the button glows in the dark. The glow button will not charge under LED light. Instructions inside. Please keep instructions for future use.
