Founded by Mark Dyer in 2008 after his first harvest on his mother’s smallholding in Moratalla, Murcia, The Gay Farmer has grown from a handful of cans sold to local delis into one of the UK’s most decorated olive oil brands. The brand’s reputation has been built on the quality of the oil in the can. Its single-estate oils are pressed within three hours of picking at family-run organic mills in Spain, and are certified organic by the Soil Association and the European Union.
