Microwave ovens vary: refer to handbook. Remove all packaging. Pierce the skin several times and place on a microwavable plate. For a crispy skin follow the microwave instructions and then place in the oven at Fan 180ºC for 20 minutes.

Air Fry 35-45 mins
Cut potatoes into even sized pieces. Place into air fryer, add oil and season to taste. Cook until golden. Or toss in oil and season to taste place on a baking tray and bake on the top shelf for 35-45 minutes, until golden and crispy. Turn occasionally.
Oven cook
Roast
Gas 7, 220ºC, Fan 200ºC, 45-50 mins
Preheat the oven. Peel and cut the potatoes into even-sized pieces. Parboil for 10 minutes. Drain then shake the pan to roughen the surfaces of the potatoes. Heat 4 tbsp of vegetable oil in a roasting tin. Add the potatoes and turn in the hot oil. Bake on the top shelf of the oven for 45-50 minutes, until golden and crispy. Turn occasionaly.

Gas 6, 200ºC, Fan 180°C 1 hrs 20 mins - 1 hrs 30 mins
Preheat the oven. Pierce the skin several times. Place directly onto the oven shelf and bake until the potato has a crispy skin and soft centre.
