Preparation and Usage
Preparation: Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw poultry.
Oven cook
From Chilled
Gas 5, 190°C, Fan 170°C, 45-50 mins
To cook with added ingredients: Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Place contents in a single layer of a casserole dish. Add 200mls chicken stock and a splash of white wine (optional). Cook uncovered in the centre of the oven for 45-50 minutes stirring halfway through. Season to taste. Stir in some cream for a creamy sauce (optional). Ensure chicken is thoroughly cooked, juices run clear and no pink colour remains. To serve place chicken on warm serving plates, mix cooking juices with stock, vegetables and bacon in casserole dish and spoon over chicken.
To cook without added ingredients: Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Place the chicken, vegetables and bacon on a baking tray and cover with foil. Cook in the centre of the oven for 30 mins, remove foil, baste the chicken and vegetables with any cooking juices and cook for a further 15-20 minutes. Ensure chicken is thoroughly cooked, juices run clear and no pink colour remains.
