Electric 170°C - 2-2.5 hours …Fan 150°C - 2-2.5 hours …Gas 3 - 2-2.5 hours ……Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan. Place the brisket into the pan and seal the sides until browned. Transfer to an ovenproof dish, 3/4 cover with light beef stock or water, cover and place in oven until thoroughly cooked, the juices run clear and the meat is tender. (Time Electric 170°C - 2-2.5 hours, Oven: 170°C, Fan: 150°C, Gas: Gas Mark gas 3)
BARBECUE. Take extra care when barbecuing. Cook first and barbecue to finish.
