Cooking instructions
General
Cook the macaroni in boiling water for 10 minutes until tender, drain and return to the pan. Meanwhile, heat the oil and fry the bacon for 4-5 minutes until crispy. Add to the macaroni. In a small saucepan, whisk the sauce flour into the milk and bring to the boil, stirring. Simmer for 1-2 minutes. Add stilton, parmesan, 50g cheddar and mustard and cook for 1 minute. Pour into the macaroni and stir well. Transfer to a heatproof serving dish and sprinkle over the remaining cheddar. Place under a preheated grill for 3-4 minutes until golden.
