Smokier and less sweet than a Tequila Sunrise, with a striking red wine ‘float’.

50ml mezcal
20ml lime juice
20ml agave syrup
Ice
15ml Triade Rosso, Italy

Put mezcal, lime juice, agave syrup and ice in a shaker; shake till cold. Strain into a rocks glass filled with more ice.
Hold a teaspoon upside down just above the drink’s surface, then trickle over the wine to create a layer.
